Lynda is the owner, founder, and training director of Canine Country. She has been working with animals since 1988. She was a veterinary technician for 6 years, a pet groomer for 10 years, and is a certified remote collar specialist. Lynda has and continues to train and title her personal dogs in obedience competitions. Her life-long passion for dogs is evident with the great personal satisfaction she gains from seeing the remarkable changes that occur in the lives of her clients and their dogs.
Canine Country is a way for Lynda to give back to the community and realize the dream of having a place where all of your dog care needs can be met.
Debbie has worked with dogs for over 20 years and has been grooming dogs for over 15 years. Her philosophy of grooming is groom with love. She understands dogs and has a natural way with them, even the most ill-tempered dog settles down for her. Debbie specializes in hard to handle dogs.
Terri Gordon is the Office Manager of Canine Country. Terri started with Canine Country in the fall of 2011 after receiving her certificate as a Veterinary Assistant. After 20 years as a hair stylist, Terri has realized that dogs are really her passion. Terri loves spending time with her family that includes a few four legged ones as well. Since Terri has started with Canine County she has shown such enthusiasm in learning all aspects of dog care needs. Recently Terri has started to learn to groom from our phenomenal grooming staff.
Rhonda has been grooming since 1992 and was trained by a Westminster Kennel Dog Show handler who was also a groomer. Her passion for grooming shows in stylistic ways specializing in scissoring of poodles and bichons. She now enjoys doing creative coloring on your pets. Her warm ways have won over the most nervous of pets. A truly wonderful experience any pet will enjoy. Certified in: Scissor and clipper Technician, Companion Animal Hygienist.
Christine has been brought up with animals her whole life. At an early age she learned how to respect and cherish all animals. Christine finds she is especially adoring of dogs and is extremely passionate about her work as a kennel assistant. Christine has also been pet sitting for dogs, cats, birds and other small animals for over 20 years and was a volunteer at the ASPCA in Lahaska, PA.
Sam has been working with animals her entire life. Growing up she worked on her Aunts farm in Vermont and learned a great work ethic and a love for animals. Sam attended Antonelli Institute of Photography, but realized working with dogs is her true passion. Sam started here at Canine Country in December of 2012 working in the kennel and taking photos of the dogs for our website. Sam started learning how to groom dogs from one of our groomers, Rhonda, and is enjoying it.
With over 30 years of canine training experience, David is considered a leading expert with hard-to-train dogs. He is involved in numerous canine sporting events and is also deemed a "trainer's trainer." David is called upon by law enforcement to remedy problems with police k9's and also provides performance training dogs used in television and film.
